The complete lyrics for this track are included as bonus, together with songs info, general info and sleeve front and back PDF's, when purchasing the entire album. Original lyrics by TakRok (Pages of Ages/Holy Writ) written between 2017 - 2020.
Lyric adaptations and editing for this track by Gundharman and Renadi (June-August 2020). The basic track on the Virus B (arpeggiator/kickdrum part) and M3 (synthesizer part)
was improvised in one integral take by Bung, immediately followed by an
improvisational jam on top of that by Renadi on the Alesis (piano), in the night of March 25th
2020, well into Corona lockdown in the Netherlands.
All other parts were composed on top of these tracks by Renadi and recorded one by one
from April to August 2020 by the other members of Bangkirai X. Substantial contributions to the final
arrangements were made by all. An early instrumental version of this piece made
a cameo appearance May 13th 2020 as background for the YouTube Corona Lyrics Creations Open Project. Watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZj8DB_5WdE&feature=youtu.be Visit www.renadi.com for more BangkiraiMusicPro releases.

about

Every Day a Trance at CAMP CORONA

This album is part of an ongoing search for and experimentation in combining improvisation
and composition as organically and fluently as possible. To find the momentum where both
approaches mingle and complement each other. Where the borders between the two blur
and the boundaries of current musical expression may be stretched.

See the track pages (just click on one of the titles above) for info/comments on the respective tracks, or get the complete Corona Album info sheets and Album sleeve front and back PDF's when purchasing the entire album.

Running time ca. 76m.

By mentioning our instruments we wish to honour the creators of these wonderful tools. A good instrument is a work of art in itself, an individual piece and a source of inspiration. It would not be exaggerated to state that this album would have turned out quite differently with instruments of other makes and brands. Thus is the relationship we strive to maintain with our 'partners in crime'.

Special guest
Jessica Polak: vocals on 'Devachan'.

Recorded at Bangkirai HomePro Studios Amsterdam NL.

Engineered, produced and mixed by Renadi Santoso in Garageband and Logic Pro.

about

Bangkirai X Amsterdam, Netherlands

They first appeared as sessionmusicians on albums like 'Angklung Santosa' and as studio engineer, graphic artist, etc on other albums. Having a mixed background ranging from classical music, contemporary, ethnic, jazz, improvisation, folk, they were keen to exploit their joint experience to create something their own. Reaching out for the unknown, they chose to add the letter 'X' to their name. ... more
